Sustainable Building Materials
As The Kep Organization, we adopt sustainability principles in the construction and building sector. We prefer natural, renewable, and recyclable materials for projects that are respectful to the environment and human health. We work to reduce our environmental and social impacts throughout all processes, from the production to use, demolition to recycling of building materials.
In our projects, we use locally sourced materials that reduce carbon footprint and eco-friendly products such as certified wood, natural stone, and clay brick. With low VOC (volatile organic compound) emission paints, adhesives, and coating materials, we protect indoor air quality.
With insulation materials that provide high energy efficiency, double glazing, and heat-resistant roofing systems, we reduce the long-term energy consumption of buildings. Additionally, by using recyclable steel, concrete, and brick, we ensure that construction waste is kept to a minimum.
In our procurement processes, we work with suppliers that have environmental certifications and adopt sustainable production methods. By conducting life cycle analyses of products, we prefer options with the least environmental impact.
We also inform our customers about the use of sustainable materials and encourage them to evaluate eco-friendly options in their projects. With our training and consulting services, we support the sustainable transformation in the sector.
